Aren’t we living in an era of everything online? Oh yeah we sure are, I mean look at how many sectors, may it be food, clothing, finance, everything, have caught up online.

Once upon a time, if we needed an auto, we used to search on the roads for autos and bargain until they agree to our destination and come down to a reasonable fare. Not that the option isn’t available anymore, but now you can book an auto online, and let the auto come to pick you up from wherever you are, and drop you wherever you need.

Now all this rose up after the period of Covid. In the period of Covid we were all locked at home no matter where we wanted to go. Most of us craved to go out, as if anywhere would be fine except home for a while. But now, after Covid has ended, we all have adapted to the work from home style so much that companies have kept the hybrid model running till date, and will most probably continue for a long time.

People have probably noticed how working from home for part of the week has enabled everyone to save more time in a day from traveling, and spend more time with family while at the same time work with a bit of leisure.

There’s another side to this too.

There are some jobs that can’t have the option of working from home as in the hybrid model, or maybe not at all, even if they wanted to. For example, boutiques, restaurants, salons, transport, and probably many more, in which work can’t be done online.

Those who can would seize the opportunity and maintain the hybrid option, and those who can’t would have to continue to work from office, without a choice. The only thing we can say for sure is, the hybrid model is here to last for a long long time.

Maybe… just maybe if our technology improves like they show in those future-related, and time-related movies and teleportation, and such features come to reality, maybe then our work, and workplace would completely go online. But that’s all for our imagination! Let’s stick to reality for now and work our minds off from wherever we are!
