Delivery Drivers Out-Earning IT Freshers?

Have the times really changed?👀 Has the job scope changed? I mean guys have you heard this? The Zomato and Swiggy delivery men are earning more than the average IT freshers! Isn’t that amazing? 

A popular youtuber Loveena Kamath has interviewed a Swiggy delivery agent Shiva and a Zomato delivery guy Taiyappa, and discovered that they earn around 40k per month! This sparked a comparison to IT employees and their early earnings.

But guys, you do notice that the delivery guys work for such long timings, and irregular timings at that! Delivery drivers work long, demanding hours in challenging conditions. It’s only fair that their monthly salary pays them off well for their hard work!

But, although their income might be higher than initial IT salaries, it might not match the long-term earning potential, or growth and job security that the IT sector ensures.

In Loveena’s interview, Shiva and Taiyappa also made it clear that this job as a delivery agent is only temporary and is solely to build up the foundation for their dreams!

Just as young people in many countries take on part-time jobs to support themselves while studying, delivery work can be a valuable step towards financial independence. It’s a way to save for the future and achieve personal goals. 

Well, it is a development! This shift in income dynamics is a testament to the evolving nature of work.
