Have you ever considered how much influence movies have? They are not just a source of entertainment are they?

Movies are made either from imagination or from experiences or inspiration or lessons learnt. Movies bring out awareness about a lot of things that exist in reality that may interest people and catch their attention, in fact not just to interest people, but to bring to people’s consciousness that there are so many things happening around us and we are not doing anything to make things better.

You see, just like music has the power to take you to another world, taking up all your focus, movies have the power to change perspectives of people. They have the power to change the way people see different situations.

They can influence our behavior in positive or negative ways! There are so many categories of movies right? Thriller, horror, romance, sci-fi and feel good movies and maybe many more too!

Maybe too many psycho-thriller movies that are meant to show how to defeat psychos could end up giving ideas on how to become a psycho on the other side of the wall. On a positive note, Feel-good films, adventure films, maybe all films have something to teach and something to learn from. How to be a better person? Maybe some movies make us relate to how we were behaving with people before, and make you realize how we should have treated them instead.

This way every scene of a movie may play a part in moving or influencing people’s subconscious mind. Some scenes and dialogues even stick with us for a long long time!

Now if you observe, utilizing the dialogues or scenes which are trending in the moment, that are on top of everyone’s mind in the moment, linking it to your brand’s post or marketing, can you imagine how it would definitely play a part in marketing your brand and help you to bridge the customer to your brand through a relatable movie scene or dialogue or moment!

Let me give you a small example, no wait, a huge one actually! The infamous latest blockbuster movie, Kalki 2898 AD

There are many dialogues that people collectively found clicking, like this dialogue: “repati kosam” and in no time it has become a trending reel to relate that dialogue to our daily life situations and make a reel on it!

Now if a brand uses this dialogue in their social media post, just by hearing this dialogue people will first stop scrolling. Second, they will be eager to check out in what other context the creator used this dialogue, and so he or she will watch your reel to the end!

Do you see what I’m saying? Alright, let’s not just say marketing, even in life, achieving dreams, or taking a leap, or maybe being yourself or changing perspectives on different things, and much more! Movies can create so much impact!

Speaking on both life and marketing terms, It’s just up to us how we utilize the impact of movies, right? Right.
